Ben started by obtaining a loan to buy equipment for his workshop, and hopes to expand in the next year or so to an industrial unit. He has since joined forces with:

Ian Tait (35) who is currently studying for the same diploma in building instruments. Ian used to work for British Aerospace as a Project Manager,

"but gave up this ‘secure job’ to chase his passion".

He somehow finds the time and energy to not only study for his course but provides valuable knowledge in both business and production techniques.

The pair are currently working on two new ranges unique to Scorpion Guitars.

The look, style, fret work, neck-shape, ergonomics, colour and many, many more options can be selected by the customer to make their fantasy instrument become reality. With easy to pay options available (trade, instalments, cash, direct debit or cheque) Scorpion Guitars will make it as easy as possible to buy that dream.

Rapture is currently in talks with Ben and Ian to get their own Rapture guitar created, so keep your eyes open for future updates. You never know, it may just turn out to be that perfect guitar Ben’s been dreaming of. But with Billy’s kid’s helping out on the design front, I somehow doubt it very much!
