BIG TROUBLE - Cert 12A – release date Monday 3rd November

The film centres on a group of people who are brought together by odd situations that are as funny as they are improbable. Arnold, an award winning journalist and recent divorcee, finds himself now running an advertising company and trying to communicate with his son Matt (Ben Foster). While playing a school game, Matt and his friend accidentally foil a contract murder attempt on the stepfather of his intended target. It seems the stepfather, has been stealing money from his employer, that is when he is not ignoring his wife Anna (Rene Russo) and her daughter Jenny.

The attempted soaking of Jenny by Matt foils the shot of a hired gun and his assistant and draws the attention of two police officers and sets the comedy in motion. It seems as if a large trunk containing a nuclear bomb has entered the city of Miami and ends up in the possession of two very dim-witted crooks, who are clueless as to what they really have.

X-MEN 2 - Certificate 12 – release date Monday 10th November

The story picks up where the last movie left off, with the mystery of the origin of Wolverine (Hugh Jackman), a mutant and therefore a member of an oppressed minority.

This time our “merry mutants” seem to face a new threat to their masquerade as an amazing mutant with extraordinary powers infiltrates the White House and attacks the President of the United States in the name of “mutant freedom”. This attack brings on a presidential meeting between the president and a vicious military scientist, General William Stryker (Brian Cox), who brings a proposal for new legislation that will cripple every man, woman and child mutant.

That secret meeting brings forth an all out assault on the X-Mansion just as Wolverine returns from his journey up north. How will this third viewpoint on the mutant dilemma affect the likes of teacher Charles Xavier (Patrick Stewart) and mutant-terrorist Magneto (Sir Ian McKellan)? .

CHARLIE'S ANGELS FULL THROTTLE - Cert 12 – release date Monday 17th Nov

The opening of the films has the team rescuing a government agent in Nepal from those bent on capturing his H.A.L.O. ring, which is one half of the witness protection list. Which when joined with the matching ring will unlock the information contained within. It does not take long for the Angles to gain a lead on the case and are soon matched up against a former Angel named Madison (Demi Moore) who still harbors feelings of anger from her days as an Angel over a mission that left her injured.

What follows is a frantic mix of action, stunts, and comedy as the Angels fight the bad guys yet still make time for some fun and a social life. There are several cameos in the film and the return of cult favourite Crispan Glover as The Thin Man.

BRUCE ALMIGHTY - Cert 12A – release date Monday 24th November

Naturally things are all not fun and games, as Bruce comes to learn that with great powers comes great responsibilities, and is reminded by God that he has yet to use his powers to help anyone other than himself after his first week on the job.

Bruce sets about answering prayers and is overwhelmed by them. Thinking he is helping, Bruce is shocked when he sees the results as thousands of people win the lottery at once and riot when they learn that they only receive a meagre $17.00 due to so many winners.

TERMINATOR 3 RISE OF THE MACHINES - Cert 12A – release date Friday 28th November

Out of the shadows of the future steps the T-X (Kristanna Loken), Skynet’s most sophisticated cyborg killing machine yet. Sent back through time to complete the job left unfinished by her predecessor, and also kill Kate Brewster (Claire Danes), a veterinarian destined to be a resistance lieutenant.

Now Connor’s only hope for survival is the Terminator , his mysterious former assassin. The trio race to shut down Skynet, the government’s computer defence system, before it launches the war against humanity. Together, they must triumph over the technologically superior T-X and forestall the looming threat of Judgment Day...or face the apocalypse and the fall of civilization, as we know it.
