Goodbye ‘Summer’ and hello ‘Autumn’, it was nice to see the sun but I could have done with the temperature turned down slightly! Well here we are with September and the fun just never ends. The kids are all going back to school now so make you sure you have a baby sitter handy so you can take advantage of some of the events included in this month’s issue. Hope you like this new section. 	TURKISH ANTIQUE BAZAAR EVENING The Silk Road Restaurant, Littlehampton Step back in time with the Silk Road Restaurant, to their mysterious and magical days of The Arabian Nights and immerse yourself in the heady aroma of an authentic, bustling bazaar. Sample some of the Hot & Cold Meze delights, freshly prepared in the Sultan’s kitchens, washed down with a glass of red or white from his underground cellars. Keep your wits about you, when bargaining and bartering - beware of pickpockets, thieves, potion sellers and sultry temptresses dressed as belly dancers whose ulterior motives are to distract your attention. In the dark and dingy recesses you will find silver & copperwares, trinkets, glass and china as well as polished tables and fine linen. Do not be misled by the apple tea seller - he is a rogue and a scoundrel. Throw him a single coin and no more. Also the Turkish Coffee reader - she will tell your fortune from the grains in the bottom of your cup but - true or not? - it is for you to judge! Whether you are a regular merchant or a trader from a distant land, your presence will be most welcome at The Silk Road Restaurant. Whatever your pleasure, there will be something for all at the Turkish Antique Bazaar Evening. Entrance £10.00 p.p. to include all the above. 7.00pm start.
	The 12th Chichester Film Festival New Park Community Centre, New Park Road Chichester Possibly the biggest and most ambitious of all the New Park Cinemas Film Festivals, this one promises to be a feature packed ‘film fest’! With over 50 premieres / previews, film shorts, world cinema, talks from the film makers and Late Night Extreme cinema. This year really has something for everyone. 	Deus Ex Machina Ground Zero, Sudley Road, Bognor Regis Congratulations to everyone at Ground Zero on bringing Bognor Regis a real alternative music night’ with Deus Ex Machina. The night has already seen some of the best alternative bands in the area such as Teen Spirit and Bikini Attol and more great bands are promised for the future. Keep it going Ground Zero!
	Charity Night The Family Tree, 1 Laburnum Grove, Bognor Regis We had to mention the Charity Night at the Family Tree on the 20th September. With the Diamonds, Dave Hooper & Friends and Addicted featuring and a special appearance from the girls from the Rox, it promises to be an interesting night!
	The Cave St Pancras, Chichester The Cave has now opened in Chichester and has perhaps the most varied and eclectic mix of music being offered in the Chichester area. With a truly unique atmosphere and a varied mix of entertainment on offer it is well worth a look in! More news will follow in the next few issues of Rapture.
	Bognor Live The Seafront, Bognor Regis Bognor Regis is famous for many things, the Birdman Rally, the amount of sun Bognor Regis gets get and the comment a king made on his deathbed when suggested that he could visit Bognor Regis when better! But perhaps now there is another event that will help to get the seaside town on the map......Bognor Live. Although only in its second year, Bognor Live pulled no punches in delivering a great weekends worth of fun and entertainment. Congratulations goes to all the people involved in the organisation and delivery of one of the most enjoyable weekends we have had for some time. Rapture is already looking forward to next years event.
	Congratulations Caz & Vince on the 27th September on their wedding day. Fingers crossed and hope the weather holds out!
